Privacy policy

We highly value our relationships with our clients. As such, we only share your information with external companies if they are part of the delivery chain, eg our order fulfilment house or providers of services linked to our programs. We will never share your information with other companies for the purposes of marketing.

Currency

All prices in Australian dollars (AUD). If you purchase internationally, utilizing Visa or Mastercard your card provider will convert the purchase into your domestic currency. There is a currency converter attached http://www.xe.com/ucc

Product availability

All products are subject to availability and may be withdrawn at any time. As many of our suppliers are independent designers and craft people there may be occasional delays. Dolphin swims are weather and dolphin dependent. We give participants the best opportunity to have an in-water encounter though cannot guarantee nor offer any guarantee to any participant in regard to in-water activity.

Delivery, shipping and handling

  • Most of our products are held in our central warehouse
  • Allow up to seven/fourteen working days from receipt of payment, greater delays may be experienced for overseas shipments
  • All delivery prices quoted include delivery, handling. Insurance is a separate charge, chosen and paid for by the purchaser of the goods
  • All prices quoted are for delivery to one address only
  • You are responsible for paying any local duty or taxes on goods delivered outside Australia if applied

Postage and handling charges

Deliveries will be by Australia Post via parcel post and e-parcel, insurance is included in the cost and both services are trackable from the time of posting and require a signature at their destination as proof of delivery.

Within Australia

  • $15.00 - $25.00 for all orders under $350.00 (based on weight)
  • All orders over $350.00 then is charged by weight

Outside Australia

  • Based on weight. Insurance for goods is an extra

Refunds and returns on goods

  • All requests for returns must be lodged within seven days of receipt of goods
  • If you receive incorrect or faulty goods please lodge a request for return within seven days of receipt of goods and we will arrange for a refund or replacement
  • All goods remain your property until received undamaged by us
  • Please quote your invoice number in all correspondence

Cancellations and Refunds on Dolphin swim bookings

Refund policy DolphCom Solutions / Dolphin Swim Australia P/L (the company) / Imagine cruises (Big Cat South Pacific P/L)

  • Whale and Dolphin interaction related overseas play-shops require a $1000 non-refundable deposit. Payment of balance will be communicated once you are booked. Pre-booking and pre-payment of all overseas service providers is required for the whale season. We pay months in advance and guarantee numbers. Therefore there are no refunds available on overseas programs once booked for any reason. We insist you take out your own travel / cancellation insurance immediately on booking!!!
  • Broughton Island Dolphin adventure require full payment on booking unless pre-arranged with management. Full refund less $200 if canceled two weeks prior, 50% refund if canceled one week prior and no refund after that time period
  • Dolphin Swim Australia P/L A.M.V.E Dolphin swim programs
  • Any cancellations must be made in writing (post, fax or email) and received by DolphCom before the time constraints detailed within our Cancellations & Conditions policy. Requests for cancellations over the phone will not be accepted.Bookings of 3 or less passengers - cancellations within 48 hours of departure are charged 50% of tour cost. Cancellations within 24 hours or failure to attend are charged at 100% of tour cost.Bookings of 4 or more passengers - cancellations within 7 days of departure date are charged at 50% of tour cost. Cancellations within 48 hours of departure or failure to attend are charged 100% of tour cost.
  • Conditions for All Tours
    • All tours are subject to weather conditions.
    • Please be aware that we will make every effort to ensure the best possible wildlife encounters on the day and we work on a 98% success rate however there are no guarantees or refunds in the event of not swimming with or sighting dolphins.
    • In the event that we are unable to swim with or sight dolphins during a tour, then we are happy for the customer to rejoin the same tour on another day free of charge (offer valid for 30 days)
    • You will be required to sign a waiver of liability to participate in the Aquatic Marine Viewing Experience (AMVE).
    • Minimum age of participants is 12 years.
    • Tours depart daily from October 1st - June 2nd (7 days a week) on demand. Please check the booking calendar for confirmed operational days. If in doubt call the office or send an email with your booking enquiry. We generally are closed June, July, August and September for Whale watch season and December 25th for Christmas Day.
    • If you choose to pay by Visa or Mastercard, please note a 2.5% surcharge fee applies.
    • Please note there is a complete ban on hand held recording devices, mobile phones and cameras on board our AMVE dolphin swim. Some images of the experience, taken by our professional camera people will be made available on flickr and a brief video clip of the highlights will be posted on vimeo and available on the dolphin swim Australia website. All images are available for viewing and purchase via the Dolphin Swim Australia website.

    Additional Conditions for Tours

    • Please be aware that some of the wildlife that frequent the marine park are seasonal and while we do enjoy frequent encounters with them please understand that they are wild animals and we have no control over their appearance.
  • Whale and dolphin watch $20 non-refundable deposit full refund less deposit if canceled up to 48 hours prior no refund after that time period
  • Products: 30 day money back guarantee. If product is faulty or damaged then a replacement product or full refund less postage and handling will apply for 30 days after purchase. No refund for change of mind.
