Poem to the Dolphin

September 18th, 2008

Wild dolphins swimming near Port StephensHere with me you are in an eternal vessel

Of the beloved’s bewildering bliss.

You are a thousand worlds away

Every thought all action in relation to knowing you interwoven into this bleeding heart, breaking open this vessel.

All is perfection that comes from my beloved’s smiling eyes, enduring love and cheekiness. Jen Sedman (c)

Whose fins are these i think i knew
Swimming quite slow in the deap blue
Poking its nose around the bow
Throwing some fish watch him chew

    Its shimmery face aglow
He so glad there is no snow
And we shook to and from
    We might wont to row

    Quiet as the breeze hums
Sheeds away what every may come
I think he side good bye
I will throw him a plum

when i say bye i must cry
He sours in the water like a bird in the sky
The water is stil where it liys
i will miss him and i
i will miss him and i
