Posted by Gordon on August 11th, 2008 filed in WhalesWe are almost half way through Dolphcoms ‘Whale Song 2008′ tour and we have some great video for you to see.
I’d just like to say: “Tonga is beautiful and the whales are plentiful.”
So less of me and more of our group of adventurers swimming with whales:)

It’s so good to relive Whalesong through the videos here now on the website. Thanks team for all your hard work, I know it’s not easy working with technology when in Tonga.
I’ll never get over my Whalesong experience and I don’t wish to either. It will be with me forever, wherever I go and whatever I face.
love to all group 1 Whalesong 2008, miss you….xo bernie

What a wonderful experience I had, met some lovely people from all over and the Tongans are a happy & friendly people.
I experienced a lot of first in my life on this wonderful trip and will never forget a moment of it ( have thousands of photos)or the people I was lucky enough to have been with in this group one.

Dear Andrew
I was unable to sculpt anything when I came back from our great adventure, but the words flowed, I hope you enjoy these… funny, that after the prose was written I have now started a sculpture.
Andrew if you wish to put the piece on your web site I would be honored!
WHALE SONG
- I came to evoke a new beginning for no reason
- Beneath the canopy of tongan blue, a pilgramage from shore to the calm of your essence
- We swam, exposed, reaching for your presence
- My face opens to catch the sun - an eternal moment moving forward
- I come in peace - you beckon me forth
- Responding to vibrations you sing your song
- I am lost in the moment and lost in your light
- I see you - the ocean becomes silent, the wind becomes still, wings of thought fly beyond my body
- I gaze upon your splendor, it seems i have known you all my life, it is beautiful to see you again
- Your body, as ancient as the universal clay of which we are also made - a constant connection with the earth that we have lost
- Your inner voice speaks out to us – to tell us of the truths beneath the fixed surface of our external form
- You live inside the wind, the mountains and the sky, the knowing of all life lies deep within you
- An underworld of resonance, a dancing mind, you bring to me a zen-like solitude
- Face to face you open doors to my being and enter my heart
- I float on waves of hope, calling me to an ancient past, whispers of truth flow through me and we journey to our home again
- I recognize your ancient belonging, your dignity has not diminished through human arrogance and greed
- Much damage has been done to your enfolded presence
- Must beauty keep away from human spaces and live only in lonely places to ensure the meeting with the light that respects wisdom, life and nature
- Your presence is luminous, you lift me to the highest high
- I couldn’t think you would come to me so simply
- My whale song has just begun
